Certifed by TUV AUSTRIA as a product that is 100% compostable in gardens and home composting heaps. OK Compost Home is not based on one standard but is the basis for several standards that must be met in order to recieve this certification. -
Seedling
Guarantees the product to fully biodegrade in an industrial composting plant under controlled conditions such as temperature, moisture and time frame- leaving nothing behind but water, biomass, and CO2. -
Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI)
Certifes the product to fully biodegrade in specifc biologically active environments such as commercial composting facilities. BPI“ is the the only third-party verification of ASTM standards for compostable products in North America. -
Materials Used
Made of plant-based starches such as corn and fully compostable ink. 180 days in a compostable environment will turn it into water, biomass, and carbon dioxide for plants to feed on!
